Update 9/6/2020

We hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend with family! We got to see some family but this is a busy time of year for us and are still trying to get some work done. We had hay baled in preparation for drilling wheat and were able to get fertilizer down on some grass that we will no till wheat into. We produced just over 200,000lbs of hay from the 80 acres we cut. Cutting the grass prior to no tilling allows the sun to reach the wheat seed better. We keep some hay but will sell most of it to neighbors. We use about 36,000lbs of hay a year so we will keep that and sell the rest. Beef is being reserved slowly and surely. We are ask that everyone interested in beef in 2021 to contact us now. We are hoping to add some more dates but most processors are booking for 2022. We aren’t sure we will be able to add any. We are down to about 10 full beef left for 2021 and that could go fast. If you are interested in great, locally grown beef please contact us so we can get you on the list! There is no cost to get on the list, we just ask for you to be sure you want beef(barring unforeseen issues that cause you not to buy).
